Senior high school students all over the Philippines now have an opportunity to be trained under a business simulation program that is used by most Swiss and German schools across Europe and South America.
Starting school year 2018-2019, Diwa Learning Systems Inc. (Diwa), the leading provider of K-to-12 educational resources, will be offering Business Weeks, a business management training series based on a computer-assisted business simulation game that teaches students how to best manage a company by enhancing their understanding of Finance, Production, Marketing, and Human Resources.
Participating senior high school students attend a 5-day training where they are divided into groups that represent different corporate management teams. The business simulation program then analyzes each business decision students make, while professionals from different fields offer guidance by sharing their experiences.
Business Weeks is equivalent to the required on-the-job training (OJT) or internship for senior high school. More than 10,000 students nationwide have graduated from the program since it was first brought to the Philippines by Bato Balani Foundation Inc. and Ernst Schmidheiny Foundation in 2010.
For more information on how to bring Business Weeks to your school, contact Diwa Learning Systems Inc. at (02) 8790 7800 or email info@diwamail.com.
